2025 was a special year for us: we celebrated 40 years Pyramid with our customers and partners.
The first news item of the year was marked by the anniversary—and we are also dedicating the last one to this remarkable occasion.
At the end of the year, our managing director Peter Trosien gave an interview to the magazine Wirtschaftsforum a detailed interview . In it, he looks back on four decades Pyramid highlights what has shaped the company since 1985:
Technological curiosity and innovation, proximity to the market, and the aspiration to be an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) to always tailor solutions to the actual needs of customers. Customers only pay for what they actually need for their specific use case.
The conversation focuses on Pyramid development Pyramid classic desktop PC Pyramid to a broad-based solution provider of IPCs, servers, self-service terminals, touch PCs and touch monitors, whose high modularity enables cost-effective adaptation to customer specifications and a fast time-to-market.
Other topics include our manufacturing in Germany, our European supply chain, and our long-term cooperation with national and international customers. At the same time, Trosien looks ahead and talks about the challenges and opportunities of the coming years—from digitalization and automation to resilient supply chains.
