Our AKHET® Essential Servers are now available for Microsoft Windows Server 2025 . This includes the AKHET® Essential 1U, AKHET® Essential 2U, and AKHET® Essential Store 2U systems with Intel® Xeon® processors.
With this certification, Microsoft confirms the platform’s full compatibility and stability. All systems are listed in the Windows Server Catalog (1U, 2U, Store 2U) and meet the strict requirements for certified hardware. For operators, this means a reliable, high-performance, and secure foundation for the productive use of Windows Server 2025—while reducing integration effort and operating costs.
The validation process is based on extensive testing, which includes checking interfaces, security features such as Secure Boot and TPM, and the interaction of all components. In addition, a 24-hour stress test under full load ensures that the systems operate reliably even under demanding conditions.
The AKHET® Essential Series is ideal for small and medium-sized businesses as well as for edge and on-premises scenarios. Typical applications include virtualization, business applications, file and backup servers, and hybrid cloud environments. As a result, these systems provide an efficient and future-proof foundation for modern IT infrastructures.
The AKHET Essential Store 2U is the platform for AKHET® Object Storage, Pyramid’s new solution for hybrid data management. It runs the S3-compatible HyperStore software from our partner Cloudian®.
