Before the development of the POLYTOUCH® pSyCO we therefore interviewed Large German retailers according to their Requirements to the ideal kiosk for self-checkout and combined the answers with our Experience from more than 10 years of kiosk construction.
The result is the POLYTOUCH® pSyCO: a compact, ergonomic and multimodular self-service checkout in the Countertop format for almost every use case in retail.
As we are a leader in kiosk technology of the POLYTOUCH® Value on Flexibility the system can be with a base unit, also available as an SCO cash register format use. In this version, the scanner is embedded in the work surface. The end user slips into the role of the cashier, whose actions they know from their own experience.
As POS system for the pSyCO the Intel®-based Pyramid POS 500 from our portfolio. It has a 15.6″ touchscreen, is used by an Intel® Celeron® J6412 and supplies the peripheral modules with energy, so that all but the payment No additional power supply units are required. Numerous interfaces equip the POS 500 with Comprehensive connectivity to the operator's hardware infrastructure. A Presentation scanner and a hand scannerr from Datalogic and a Printer from Epson belong to the Scope of delivery.
The kiosk has a VESA mount to which - as an alternative to the POS 500 - almostany POS system with a screen diagonal of 15.6″ to 23.8″ can be attached. Pyramid also have a choice of scanner, printer and payment models from different manufacturers: if a use case requires specific peripherals, the flexibility of the system allows it to be retrofitted both ex works and in your space. Thanks to the sophisticated technology concept, modifications are uncomplicated, quick and cost-efficient.
For optimum configuration to meet the requirements of the kiosk operator, the POLYTOUCH® pSyCO in the Cash desk format following modules and accessories possible: Audio & navigation keypad for accessibility, Coupon scanner and Coupon box, Cash management, Bag holders and shelving systems. Freedom of choice also exists for the Material for the Cash desk (Real wood or Stainless steel, in Color or natural).
The POLYTOUCH® pSyCO is a SCO for the entire retail sector. Thanks to its high-performance and comprehensive hardware equipment, it is particularly suitable for checking out large shopping carts. Items that are difficult to remove from the trolley due to their size or weight can be scanned using the handheld scanner. This makes the pSyCHO interesting for hardware stores as well.
