General Information What Environmental Management Means at Pyramid

In 2023, we incorporated our commitment to climate and environmental protection into an integrated management system through certification under DIN EN ISO 14001. This enables us to pursue our environmental goals more effectively, measure progress more accurately, and continuously refine our measures.

Environmental considerations are factored into business decisions throughout the entire value chain—from material selection and product design to logistics, energy consumption, and office operations.

Our integrated management system thus combines quality and environmental protection. In this way, we reduce our environmental footprint, promote environmentally conscious practices within the company, and contribute to protecting the resources essential to the survival of current and future generations.

Logistics Sustainability in Shipping

We are switching to corrugated cardboard for our packing material and to fiber-reinforced water-activated tape for our packing straps. Both solutions are paper-based and 100% recyclable.

The “GreenPYoneers” meet quarterly to gather and implement environmental ideas from the staff—ranging from “green office” rules to motion-activated lighting.
