GEVA Group presents the Giro-Scan-Box 2.0 to employees of VR-Bank Fläming eG in Luckenwald

03/06/2025 POLYTOUCH® : Electronic mailbox for banks

The GEVA Group, one of Europe’s leading payment specialists and a key partner for financial institutions, public sector organizations, and corporations, continues to drive digitalization the banking sector: With the Giro-Scan-Box 2.0 , based on the Pyramid e-Briefkasten, banking-related documents such as checks and money transfers are automatically digitized and processed in an audit-proof manner.

The solution is based on our e-Mailbox hardware platform and automates the processing of checks, transfers, and other bank-related documents. As soon as they're deposited, it converts the physical documents into an audit-compliant digital format. This is then sent online to an external service provider or an in-house office for further processing. This eliminates the need for daily mailbox emptying and relieves administrative staff of routine tasks like sorting and distributing mail.

With the successful commissioning of the GSB 2.0 at the Luckenwalde branch, the GEVA Group is launching a comprehensive project that will roll out the solution at a total of 17 locations within the VR-Bank Fläming eG business area. In addition, a GSB 2.0 was installed and commissioned at the Bad Arolsen branch of Waldeck-Frankenberger Bank eG. The photo shows Francesco Cantanzaro and Andreas Schulz from the GEVA Group handing over the GSB 2.0 to VR-Bank employees Tanja Trachte and Angela Göbel.

We are delighted to contribute our hardware to the success of the GEVA Group, which is one of Germany's Growth Champions 2024. Thank you for the pleasant cooperation! Let us continue to digitalization in the banking sector.
