It is operated via a thin, almost frameless touch display with the look and feel of a tablet.

With the FLEX and the software application of your choice, you can automate self-service for the benefit of staff and guests.

The guest selects the language in which they would like to be guided through the check-in process by FLEX.

They then scan the QR code that they received when booking online and carry with them in electronic form on their cell phone or as a paper printout.

Missing data is added using the terminal's virtual on-screen keyboard.

Once the formalities have been completed, he will receive the RFID room card and the legally required receipts from FLEX.

The guest selects the check-out tile on the FLEX and then the guest reservation.

The HMS then checks whether the guest has any outstanding items to pay.

After the successful payment process, room access expires.

Self-service check-in creates a win-win situation:
For the guest, the waiting time at reception is reduced and staff are relieved of administrative tasks. The manual entry of information and the dreaded check-in errors caused by time pressure are a thing of the past. The registration form is available in digital form immediately after self-check-in, and all data about the guest and their stay is already in the hotel management system (HMS).

Would you like to automate the check-in process using your guests' travel and identity documents? No problem! FLEX21.5 is also available in a PRO version (kiosk on the right). It features a Thales Gemalto Document Reader AT10K, which accurately checks and authenticates data from electronic ID cards and driver's licenses. The captured data is then automatically stored in the HMS.

And what about check-out? With FLEX21.5, check-out can of course be digitized in the same way as check-in. To do this, guests simply select the check-out tile on FLEX and then their reservation. The HMS then checks whether the guest has any outstanding items to pay for. Once payment has been successfully processed, access to the room is revoked.
