With this POLYTOUCH® product line, we are meeting the growing demand for kiosk solutions from the logistics industry and the logistics departments of large companies.

Each terminal is available in versions for both indoor and outdoor use. There, drivers and warehouse staff can perform standard inbound and outbound tasks on their own.

This speeds up processes and takes the pressure off employees. This leaves them with more time to handle shipping documents that cannot be created and issued through the standard procedure.

Our LOGISTIC TERMINAL is based on the OUTDOOR. This means: a steel and aluminum chassis, a coating rated for corrosion category C4, a sophisticated sealing concept, and an integrated heating and/or cooling system.

The systems can be configured and purchased on our B2B portal.

To use LOGISTIC in a production environment, you will need suitable software—for example, from one of our partners or from your existing IT environment. We would be happy to advise you!

For POLYTOUCH® terminals, we use hardware from the ecosystem of our in-house brands.

The 19-inch Full HD touchscreen used in the logistics terminals is manufactured by faytech®. The display features optical bonding, direct sunlight suitable and displays the screen content at a brightness of 1000 or 2500 cd/m²². This ensures optimal readability and usability even in direct sunlight.

For the drive system, we chose the BoxFlex S, an industrial PC from AKHET®. This compact and powerful IPC is based on 64-bit Intel® Celeron™ technology and operates in temperature ranges up to +50°C.

Our POLYTOUCH® OUTBOUND self-service terminals for issuing freight documents offer significant benefits to logistics companies and truck drivers. Automated document issuance eliminates long wait times at the counter.

Drivers can print their own delivery slips, customs documents, or waybills around the clock, regardless of office hours. This ensures fast and smooth processing, especially in shift operations and at high-traffic locations.

The terminal is equipped with an intercom unit featuring a speaker, microphone, and help button. For the document printer, we use Lexmark hardware.

At the POLYTOUCH® inbound terminal, the truck driver scans his shipping documents or the code on his cell phone. This converts all the information about his delivery into a digital format. The data is immediately sent to the ERP system for further processing. In return, the terminal’s display shows the driver the gate where he is to make his delivery and the route to get there.

For our document and barcode scanners, we rely on hardware from industry leaders Basler and Zebra.

Multilingual user interface Reading and understanding

In modern logistics, drivers from various countries—and the communication challenges that come with them—are a common occurrence.

Self-service terminals offer a solution: Their user interface is multilingual and intuitive for everyone. With a simple touch, drivers can select their native language and complete their tasks quickly, accurately, and efficiently. At the same time, the multilingual feature helps increase acceptance of the digital solution.

Especially in time-sensitive logistics processes, the multilingual capabilities of self-service systems are a key advantage for companies with high volumes of international traffic.

Inbound and outbound for indoor and outdoor use POLYTOUCH® LOGISTIC TERMINAL

POLYTOUCH® LOGISTIC TERMINAL for OUTBOUND (Goods Out)

The truck driver identifies himself at the terminal, which then issues the freight documents via an A4 printer. The documents are ready for removal in the tray behind the lifting flap. The printer's media tray holds 550 sheets of paper. An intercom is available.

POLYTOUCH® LOGISTIC TERMINAL for INBOUND (Goods Receiving)

The truck driver converts his freight documents into a digital format using the document scanner in the terminal. To do this, he places the documents sheet by sheet in the shaft behind the lifting flap. He controls the process via the display in his native language.

We developed the POLYTOUCH® LogiScanBox for our partner ABONA. It digitizes shipping documents on-site and feeds the data into the ERP system. Its user interface is available in multiple languages.

We developed the system in close collaboration with our client. In the process, we gained valuable insights into the industry and its specific requirements for self-service solutions.
